Our Philosophy
Children learn best when they feel safe and loved; that belief shaped our education and social-emotional philosophies. Our education philosophy is integrative learning, which means that we connect the skills we teach and everyday experiences so that our learners can use their learned skills to solve problems. The curriculum we use to support our education philosophy is STREAMin3.
Our social-emotional philosophy is the school family approach. Students feel safe, loved, and a part of something bigger than themselves. Our children learn to give and receive love and support. The tool we use to support our social-emotional philosophy is Conscious Discipline.
Health & Safety
At Berkley Christian Academy, your child's health and safety are our top priority. We follow strict health and safety guidelines to ensure that our facilities and equipment are clean, safe, and secure. We have trained staff who are prepared to handle emergencies and provide first aid if necessary. We also have policies in place to prevent the spread of illnesses and keep our environment healthy.
