Toddler 2 /Pre-Academy Program
The 2-year-olds are the stars of the Crayola Kids classroom, enveloped in a nurturing and supportive environment that we hold in the highest regard. Our teachers, with their unwavering dedication, celebrate the wonder & discovery of our learners, helping them develop emotional intelligence and stimulate their intellectual curiosity. This class is a warm and loving introduction to our BCA School family; ensuring your child's well-being is not just a priority but our utmost commitment. Pre-K 3 Academy Program
As our learners grow and mature, they transition to the Buzzing Bees classroom. Now, they are the “big kids” of the BCA Family, setting an example for the younger ones. Our teachers continue to support them as they strengthen their emotional intelligence and increase their intellectual curiosity in a more structured environment. Learners will begin developing the skills they need for kindergarten and beyond, a testament to their growth and development. We take immense pride in the growth and development of our students, and we're confident that your child will thrive in our nurturing environment, just like our Soaring Eagles.
Pre-K 4 Academy Program
These learners are the senior class of the academy, our Soaring Eagles. They embrace the responsibility of setting an example for the younger BCA family members. With the students’ guidance, our teachers support their growing independence by allowing them to exercise their emotional intelligence and intellectual curiosity through experiential learning. These learners, equipped with the skills and knowledge they've gained, will confidently soar beyond Berkley Christian Academy, ready to take on the world.
Before/After School Program
Our Before/After School program, affectionately known as the BCA Crew, is more than homework help. It's a comprehensive support system that prioritizes your child's spiritual, academic, and social-emotional well-being. We assist with scripture learning, homework completion, and practicing love and kindness, all while engaging in fun and exciting learning activities. This program ensures your child's learning and development continue beyond the regular school hours, offering a well-rounded spiritual and educational experience you can trust. It's an excellent way for your child to extend their learning and socialize with their peers in a safe and supportive environment.
Summer S.T.R.E.A.M Program
During the dog days of summer, we drift down the S.T.R.E.A.M of integrative learning. S.T.R.E.A.M stands for Science, Technology, Reading, Arts and Math. Integrative learning connects ideas and experiences to apply information and skills learned to novel and complex issues or challenges. We assess S.T.R.E.A.M campers at the beginning of the summer to evaluate where they need academic support. Then, we create skills drills and morning work to fill any learning gaps and prevent summer learning loss. It’s not all work!! There are field trips and activities to reinforce learning.
